Program
The main goal of this meeting is to explore the way information provision in HEP and in Astronomy & Astrophysics are evolving and increasingly getting closer. Most importantly, we would like to begin to explore the synergies among the two fields and among all players: repositories, information platforms, publishers.
For the first day, our idea is to take some time to tell you what we’ve been busy at on our INSPIRE/ADS side, and then hear from all of the publishers and societies involved in the field.
For the second day we would like to introduce some inspiring topics which offer great potential, such as semantic enrichment, linking of content, integration of data in the scholarly workflow, and then break away in groups to drill down on some of these issues. Later, we can brief each other on more possible grounds for collaboration in these and other projects.
All talks will take place at the Center for Astrophysics, Perkins building, Pratt Conference Room. Look for the lobby and follow the signage.
